About Us

Global Women’s Dialogue (GWD) aspires to build bridges of understanding by creating a collective from across the world to build an active network centered on creating a better world. GWD fosters growth through community. We informally educate ourselves through varied communal events. Our semi-annual event brings together 90+ Temple University students, faculty, administrators and staff to dialogue in small groups, on contemporary day to day global issues. Our difference that divide us is the power that ignites our need to come together. Our collective, inclusive of all identities, fosters intellectual growth, cultural competency and the importance of service. Through this organization, we build bridges of understanding.

To challenge young women to think about themselves as tomorrow’s leaders.
